First, you can’t even imagine how many people it takes to put on a show this size! Here are some wild stats:
  • The VS Makeup Pro team includes 17 makeup artists and 19 hairstylists
  • They calculate approximately that there will be a total of 90 lip gloss applications, 30 bottle s of Shimmer Mists used and 40 cans of So Sexy Style & Hold Spray used before the models hit the runway tonight
  • It will take over 50 dressers backstage to get the Angels into their custom-designed outfits, wings and 6-inch heels
If you want to test your own Angel look earlier to the show’s broadcast on November 30th. Tune in later for more coverage on HL straight from the runway! We’re delivering the Angel dish, BFFs!

Top Model Jessica Starr Timmons and Fashion tips.

She spends enormous time in shopping just for  the right outfit when it comes to her busy fashion and personal calendar. She finds time to balance family and fashion, not an easy order. Shopping for garments is key for Ms. Starr Timmons, and the model’s figure is a main consideration.
Most women expend an average of three years of their lives shopping, according to a recent survey by global online market researcher OnePoll.com. And a poll by MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk found that 25 percent of women only wear 10 per cent of the clothes they own, while 91 percent have an item in the closet that still has the tags on.
Lifestyle expert Amy Sewell, of Shop With Style, has some tips to help you put your shopping time to good use by finding fashion that suits your figure.

  • The Perfect Suit. Choose a jacket with small pads to define your shoulders and a waist that is slightly fitted to give you a womanly curve. Pants with a flat front and slightly-flared legs will minimize the tummy and create a longer, leaner look. A-line skirts offer good camouflage for fuller hips and thighs; skirt lengths that hit at or just below the knee flatter most figures.
  • Keep It Monochromatic. Wearing the same color from head to toe creates the illusion of one long, unbroken line, making you appear slimmer. Think neutrals:  black, camel, cream, dark brown.
  • Skim, Not Skin. Clothing should skim your curves, so look for fabrics that drape in a flattering way. Heavy fabrics will hide your shape, while super-sheer fabrics and spandex reveal a little too much. Knitwear line Ming Wang is a perfect wrinkle-free and shape-retentive clothing option.

Hot Hair Idea: The Mile-High Ponytail

Robbie Myers wasn't the only show-goer covered with Flinstones hair on the first day of Fashion Week. Most models at the idea Korea Spring 2011 show at Lincoln Center also rocked sky-scraping ponytails, albeit ones that were a bit sleeker and more Madonna-circa-Blond Ambition than whacked-out neanderthal girl. All around rad on a runway, but would you ever rock it in real life?
